KARMA YOGA WEEKEND – NEW BATH HOUSE: August 6-8
For many years our retreat guests have had to share the single bathroom in the barn. We are aware that this situation has been inadequate and the Ananda Dhiira Planning Committee has placed it as one of the top priority facilities to improve at Ananda Dhiira; we need your help.
A generous contribution made it possible to start the bath house project early this year. Many volunteers have spent countless hours in making the design, modifying the plan, budgeting/ordering the material and leading the construction work. The basic structure was constructed by the end of May retreat. It was put on hold since then, due to lack of funds and work force.
We have to complete this project as soon as possible, so that we can better host the events on our calendar and certainly before the rainy season begins.
We are in need of funds to purchase materials for the remaining work in plumbing, electrical, heating system, vent, drainage, insulation, greywater, painting, etc. We also need to pay for part of the labor which can’t be spared. A rough estimation is $7,000. karma yogiis with skills and experience will help greatly to reduce the cost. Please let us know if you can join the work party on Aug 6th-8th or any other time.
